Despite the weather slightly dampening our plans that day, around 40 girls were more motivated than ever, enjoying the day in Mayrhofen nonetheless. Together, they worked on their personal progression, accompanied by professional coaches and ROXY pro athletes. From beginner level to advanced riders, the PenkenPark was filled with female energy as far as the eye could see!

First things first! The day started early in the morning with registration. It continued with a small yoga session for warm-up to get the girls ready for coaching. After the ladies were divided into groups, the first session began. Coaching was provided by freestyle queens Lisa Zimmermann, Johanna Sellman, Siobhan Challis, Tini Gruber, and Franziska Herberg.

Some good reasons! At the ROXY Girls Shred Session, the intentions of the participants are quite diverse. "I've been here on and off for the past few years and I always enjoy coming back to PenkenPark. The vibe here is just great," says snowboarder Kathi. Freeskier Hanna wanted to further develop her skills in the park and reports, "I already knew a couple of tricks, but I wanted to improve further and feel more confident on my skis. I've achieved that here, with the support of many other girls." Participant Anna braves the conditions and says, "Even though the weather conditions aren't optimal today, I'm really glad to be here. It's a lot of fun and I'm still learning a lot!" And the three ROXY athletes agreed; the girls-only coaching is a complete success, and the PenkenPark provides a perfect backdrop for such a format.

Perfect Days! After the first session, all the girls headed to Grillhof Alm for a little refreshment powered by Mayrhofner Bergbahnen. They ate together, chatted, and recharged their batteries to start the second coaching session in the afternoon. Here, skills were internalized and everyone cheered each other on because practicing together is the most fun! At the end of the day, there were some fine goodies from ROXY and Golden Ride that all the ladies greatly appreciated.

Teamwork makes the dream work! A thrilling day like this could not have been successfully carried out without the comprehensive support of the PenkenPark crew, as well as the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen and great partners like ROXY, Golden Ride, and Boardriding. A highlight for the girls in Mayrhofen this year was definitely the visit of ROXY athletes Kelly Sildaru, Isabelle Lötscher, and Lara Wolf. The girls were there all day, spending a day full of good vibes and personal progression in PenkenPark with the participants. Many of the girls took this opportunity to get tips from the ROXY athletes, watch them shred, or simply relax and chat with them. This year's ROXY Girls Shred Sessions had a wonderful start in the Mayrhofen PenkenPark, which I'm sure all the girls will fondly remember for a long time!
