With the best weather conditions, the day kicked off at half past nine in the morning as the first girls arrived at the park for registration. After a brief welcome, all participants warmed up together, preparing themselves for the day ahead. Coaches at Planai included Mel Cheng, Klara Dinold, Steffi Reicht, and Vanessa Mayerosch – all of them were super motivated and shared their tips and tricks for awesome skills with our girls.

Whether it was the kicker, tube, rail, or box – our shred queens tackled every obstacle alongside the coaches. Soon, you could observe the first improvements, which were celebrated by all the girls. Skills quickly escalated within the coaching sessions, and even if something didn't go as planned, everyone in the group was supportive, creating a fantastic atmosphere in the park. Snowboarder Clio from Italy mentioned that this was precisely why she was here: "Practicing alone in the park just isn't as enjoyable for me as being in a group. That's why I'm glad to be riding with the others today." The joy over their new skills was evident in the riders' faces, as laughter and cheers echoed throughout.

With action-packed days, it's essential to take breaks. Therefore, at noon, all participants could refuel at the Toast Party and gather new energy for the next round. Together, they snacked, laughed, and chatted in the sun before internalizing the shred skills in the second coaching session. Even when the weather turned a bit unpleasant early in the afternoon, the girls were still motivated to keep sending it. To conclude the session, Mother Nature blessed us with fresh powder in the Superpark Planai. Despite wintry conditions, all the girls enjoyed goodies from ROXY and Goldenride.

With many happy faces, the day at Planai and thus the last ROXY Girls Shred Session of this year's season came to an end. Such a wonderful progression session can only be successful with motivated participants and committed partners on board. Without the Bergbahnen Planai Schladming, the Shape Crew of the Superpark Planai, as well as our partners ROXY, Golden Ride, and Boardriding, such a day would be hard to imagine. The ROXY Girls Shred Session Tour 2024 thus had a fitting end in Schladming for this season, and we look forward to starting again with you next winter!
